Abstract : Two-dimensional liquid chromatography (2D-LC) can resolve difficult separation problems.

In this tutorial Prof. Dwight Stoll will present:

• Fundamental principle of targeted, comprehensive and high-resolution modes with theoretical explanation of 2D separation
• Practical aspect of cutting-edge 2D-LC including experimental details, column selection and the management of the interface between 1st and 2nd dimension
• How to tackle analytical challenges
• Recent application of 2D-LC described in literatures in a wide variety of industries ranging from small molecule to large molecule – chemical, material, food and (bio-)pharmaceuticals.
